What a great concept and an excellent execution. Looking forward to many games on my VentureBoard chess set!

I started out with the VB XL. I love the bigger size and the sculpted pieces, but it was a little bulky to transport sometimes. I bought the VB mini because of the compact size, plus it's easier to transport if I ride my motorcycle. It fits right in my vest or jacket pocket. The color is great and my cat likes it too!

Admittedly, I'm a checkers fan, so that's where I'm getting the enjoyment out of this product. I bought this mostly for my son, who is almost five, and while he makes up many rules of his own, it's been a great way to introduce him to the idea of checkers and chess. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of either game or someone who is on the fence about purchasing it!

I wish I had the blue/black VentureBoard mini chess set with me on Mt. Fuji. Back then, I was lugging around a Michael Graves travel set, nice, but still bulky. The VentureBoard would’ve been perfect.

It’s compact, rolls up tight, and the magnetic pieces stay put even when the board’s jostled. I love the clean design, the sturdy feel, and the bonus spare queens. It fits in a knapsack pocket but plays like a full-size set.

Stylish, smart, and actually practical; this is my new go-to travel chess set.

Awesome product will likely purchase more as gifts.
