The larger ventureBoard still closes nicely, without disturbing pieces. But playing with non-standard decorative chess sets is always a pain. There is very little difference between queen and king, especially with the black set; whose blackness eats the shadows and makes the small difference in the crowns harder to see. I think I will have to adulterate the black half with liquid paper to make them more distinct. Very good players, who can hold the whole board in their heads will have no trouble, but not recommended for novice to intermediate.

Not to have to remove pieces ever from a board is amazing..plus rolling up and taking it on the go is awesome.
Only thing they could improve is some interferences as well as make the king and queen better looking
