My son loves the board. The pieces do not move and allows him to play his games in between classes and extracurricular activities.
I have a large number of analysis/travel chess sets. The set has several advantages first, it comes with an extra queen of each color. It also comes with an extra piece with decals in case you lose a different piece. The magnets are strong, and the head can be rolled up so that it keeps your position. A set intermediate in size between the small one I bought and the larger one for sale which also has 3-D pieces would be perfect.
Got the XL as a gift for my son and he loves it. It is a perfect size, not too big and not too small. He has been carrying it with him and his friends to the park, and he loves it.

I took my new XL Venture board on vacation to Madeira Beach, Florida and sat outside at a cigar shop. Within an hour I had several questions and compliments on the board and played with several nice people. The board performed great! Thanks for such a great product.
My 5th grade daughter got this for her birthday from us and loves it! Perfect to travel to school with it. She said all the pieces stay in place.
This is the best fucking invention for chess since sliced bread. I take it to the bar, restaurants, to the club while I’m DJing. No limits to this wonderful board.
Love the VentureBoard! Its design and quality are very impressive. The “Fire” color is perfect. The orange is not bright or distracting. Kind of a burnt orange color. Love that the board lies flat, rolls up and closes easily, and the pieces stay in place so that your game can be resumed at another time. It’s my favorite travel chess set.

We love this product and have been enjoying it while traveling and vacationing. It’s easy to pass around the car. We do wish the magnets were stronger because we do get some shifting of pieces when carrying it in the rolled position.
Our boys actually got off their screens for a bit and enjoyed some chess.
