My family owns the ventureboard chess board and it gets more use than any other chess set in the house so we were thrilled when ventureboard came out with a backgammon board. My son and I play backgammon together very regularly and this board has been great for throwing in a bag to take with us to the park or the brewery, but it’s also been great for playing just cozied up on the couch without any fear of pieces disappearing into the couch cushions. Love the size, it’s just right, not too small and fussy and still a convenient size and shape for a travel game. Also, aesthetically I appreciate that it looks like a travel game an adult would own. I know these game boards are games my teenagers aren’t embarrassed to be seen with in public which is a selling point from my point of view.

I don’t play backgammon that much, but I got this as soon as I saw it was available. It is another high quality portable version of a game board, VentureBoard does it again!!!
